Your attending is an oncologist based in Brooklyn, New York, affiliated with several hospitals in the region, including New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in India and has over 22 years of medical experience. He specializes in treating small intestine and colorectal cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, among many other conditions. This doctor has been hosting rotations for FMG Portal students for over 12 years.
Rotation Description
Objectives:
- Clinical Skills: Develop competence in history taking, physical examination, and formulation of differential diagnoses specific to oncology patients.
- Medical Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of cancer biology, epidemiology, and the principles of oncology treatment modalities (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery).
- Patient Management: Learn to develop and implement treatment plans, manage complications, and provide supportive care.
