Rotation Description
During your Pediatrics w/Family Medicine clinical rotation with FMG Portal, you will have the opportunity to learn about the care of infants, children, and adolescents in an ambulatory setting.
Additionally, your performance during this rotation will lead to obtaining a US LOR, which is essential for your upcoming residency program applications.
Patient Care:

Well-Child Visits: Conducting comprehensive well-child exams, monitoring growth and development, administering vaccinations, and providing anticipatory guidance.

Acute Care Visits: Diagnosing and managing common acute illnesses and injuries in children, such as respiratory infections, gastroenteritis, and minor trauma.

Chronic Disease Management: Managing chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, ADHD, and obesity, including creating management plans and coordinating with specialists.
