Attending Introduction
The Department of Family Medicine at SUNY Downstate welcomed
your attending to its faculty ranks in December 2002 as an
Assistant Professor. Her initial assignment consisted of the
combined roles of pre-doctoral coordinator and course director for the
Family Practice Clerkship, as well as Medical Director for the Family
Practice Center. In June 2005, she relinquished these assignments to become the Residency Program Director.
In 2016, due to her hard work, she was promoted to Associate Professor of Family Medicine and that same year was awarded the distinction of Fellow by the American Academy of Family Medicine. She subsequently left her position at Downstate and joined the residency program at Northwell in Bay Shore and opened a small private practice during that same year. She maintains her faculty appointment at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.
