Internal Medicine & Family Medicine Hands-On Outpatient Rotation in Hawthorne, New Jersey
Attending Introduction
Board certified in Internal Medicine and with over 15 years of experience. Affiliated and completed residency at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center. The attending is motivated in helping foreign students and doctors on their quest to residency placement.
Students will question patients, take histories, discuss differentials, diagnostic tests, will be able to read the diagnostic results as well as participate in doing EKG, PFT, ABI and minor procedures like ear irrigation or incision & drainage. Students will be able to discuss the opportunity of going to morning rounds with me to rehabilitation centers. Patient load is about 20-50 patients per day.
Rotation Description
Your rotation in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine will provide you with hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions under the supervision of your experienced attending physician.
Additionally, your performance during this rotation will lead to obtaining a US LOR, which is essential for your upcoming residency program applications.

Monitoring and adjusting treatments for chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and asthma.
