From your board certified attending: As a first-generation immigrant and mother of two, I have dedicated my career to addressing historic health inequities by prioritizing high-quality, compassionate care for all patients.
After immigrating to the United States, I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Over the past 22 years, as a primary care physician in Brooklyn, I have developed deep and lasting connections with patients from diverse backgrounds.
My experience has enabled me to create effective, practical, and culturally competent treatment plans, while promoting preventative care as part of my patients’ daily lives. Witnessing the lack of comprehensive medical attention for women’s health inspired me to focus on addressing this need within my practice.
I provide students with exposure to recent advances in health care delivery methods and technology such as EMR, Telemedicine, Healthix, etc.
Rotation Description
Your rotation in Internal Medicine with FMG Portal will provide you with hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of adult medical conditions under the supervision of your experienced attending physician.
Additionally, your performance during this rotation will lead to obtaining a US LOR, which is essential for your upcoming residency program applications.
