Attending Introduction

From your attending:  I am a board certified neurologist with over 20 years of clinical experience.  I have completed a fellowship in neuromuscular neurology and epilepsy.  I have been teaching residents and medical students for over 20 years.  I have a passion for teaching and explaining medicine.  I believe in evidence based medicine and teach my patients and students based on the science and literature available.  I am passionate about neurology and my patients’ care.  I am also the medical director for a clinical research institute and participate in a lot of clinical research studies.  I have a close relationship with the pharmaceutical industry and often collaborate with them on research and education.

In our office we perform EEG, EMG, VNG, skin puch biopsies, botox injections for chronic migraine, spasticity and dystonia.  We perform nerve blocks, trigger point injections.  Students work primarily with the attending. We see about 20-30 patients per day.
