Attending Introduction
From your attending: I’ve had the privilege of being a preceptor for medical students for more than 25 years. Throughout my career in obstetrics and gynecology, I’ve focused on fostering a learning environment that emphasizes confidence and hands-on experience. My approach prioritizes teaching students how to perform comprehensive history and physical exams, as well as how to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to each patient. I believe in actively involving students in a variety of procedures and case presentations to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
Students at our clinic will have a robust, hands-on learning experience. Our patient load varies week to week. We usually see 7-10 patients a day and have Fridays as procedure/hospital day for students so they can take time to study or practice a certain procedures.
