Attending Introduction
Board certified in Pediatrics and raised in Miami, Florida. Attended the University of Miami for undergraduate studies. Completed Pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at Boston Children’s Hospital.
In this rotation you will have hands-on experience in the outpatient setting, including interacting with patients, taking medical histories, performing basic physical exams and observing diagnosis and treatment conditions. When there are consults at the hospital, students will be able to round to see patients. A typical day ranges from 8-15 patients. The attending has hosted rotations for FMG Portal students/graduates for over 12 years.
Rotation Description
During your Pediatrics clinical rotation with FMG Portal, you will have the opportunity to learn about the care of infants, children, and adolescents in an ambulatory setting.
Additionally, your performance during this rotation will lead to obtaining a US LOR, which is essential for your upcoming residency program applications.
Patient Care:

Well-Child Visits: Conducting comprehensive well-child exams, monitoring growth and development, administering vaccinations, and providing anticipatory guidance.

Acute Care Visits: Diagnosing and managing common acute illnesses and injuries in children, such as respiratory infections, gastroenteritis, and minor trauma.

Chronic Disease Management: Managing chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, ADHD, and obesity, including creating management plans and coordinating with specialists.
